Bilateral Relationship

On August 9th, 1978, China and Libya established the diplomatic relationship based on a joint communiqué signed by the foreign ministers of both sides. Since then, the bilateral relationship had maintained the developing momentum.

In 1982, the Libyan leader Gaddafi visited China, and in 2002, Chinese President Jiang Zemin visited Libya. And the bilateral visits on the top level have made a great contribution to the development of mutual relationship. Other important bilateral visits also include:
